What’s motivating us for giving?

Just prior to the Christmas season, I received just before Christmas, I received a Facebook reminding me to donate from an organization that I have a good relationship with and has been dedicated to helping cancer patients who are poor for the past more than 25 years. I replied immediately, and said I’d like to contribute something. I was sincere in my reply Since the loss of the battle with cancer to my mom, I’ve been trying to be a tiny donor to this charity.
